【素材】
・12.4oz OLDJOE original denim
・糸から拘り、オリジナルのバルキーさを表現し、ラスティックなネップ感を入れ込み、デニムの産地、 井原にて製作
・経糸にムラ、ネップ形状の強いものを黒味の強いインディゴ染料で染色し、ヨコ糸は比較的ベージュ味の綿を厳選し強撚をかけて糸に
・生地はいわゆるキバタと言われる織り上がった状態のものから、特殊な方法でサンフォライズ(防縮加工)のみをかけている
・通常の防縮方法とは違いますのでいわゆるリジッドデニムと呼ばれる表面にノリが付着した固い生地にはならず柔らかな手触りを表現
・風合いや色味の重厚感、実際手に取った時の質感や、着用時の履きやすさ、糸使いも含めて、 OLDJOEならではのプリミティブかつモダンな存在感を持ったオリジナルデニム

Fabric
• 12.4oz OLD JOE original denim
• Crafted in Ibara, Japan, the birthplace of denim, using specially developed yarns to achieve a bulky, rustic nep texture
• Warp yarns feature strong irregularities and nep shapes, dyed with deep indigo for a dark tone
• Weft yarns are spun from carefully selected beige-toned cotton with high twist for strength and texture
• The fabric is “kibata” (loomstate) denim treated only with a special sanforization (shrink-proofing) process
• Unlike conventional shrink-proofing, the denim retains a soft hand feel rather than the stiff, glue-coated finish typical of rigid denim
• With its rich texture, heavy color depth, authentic hand feel, comfort in wear, and unique yarn character, this original denim embodies OLD JOE’s signature blend of primitive yet modern aesthetics
